May this year be filled with joy.

Tis the season to be jolly!!

The Nicest Present
Under the tree the gifts enthrall,
But the nicest present of them all
Is filling our thoughts with those who care,
Wanting our Christmas joy to share.
To whom we’re often thinking of,
We send our holiday joy and love.
By Joanna and Karl Fuchs
With the Christmas tree lit and the presents waiting to be unwrapped, Holiday Villa East welcomes friends, family, and loved ones, to share this holiday of joy!

Happy Chanukah!

It’s the holiday season at HVE. Decorations are up; which means the lobby is decorated with the Menorah, candles and holiday lights. Every year, the Rabbi & children come to light the candles & light up our lives!

Piano Recital

VICTORIA ROIZEN’S STUDENT RECITAL AT HVE
Victoria wrote; “I hope your residents at Holiday Villa East were happy to hear some of my students perform piano for them yesterday afternoon. I always believe that children should respect the elderly and try to help them in any way they can. I hope I was able to accomplish that goal by creating this recital.Thank you.Happy Holidays!
Well, we have to say thank you for a magnificent recital. Everyone enjoyed & there were requests for a return performance.

HAPPY THANKGIVING! from H.V.E.

There is so much to be thankful for at HVE. While many went out for dinner, those who stayed enjoyed a marvelous evening.

We celebrated the holiday with a delicious turkey dinner with all the “fixins”, by candlelight, with wine in hand & live music in the air. But most importantly, we celebrated it together with our residents, their friends & family.

CLAY TIME

A little bit about the Instructor:
Ms. Bolding is involved in community service with children’s and senior’s activities. Born and raised in Southern California, sculptor/artist Caroline Bolding grew up amid the strong influence of the arts and entertainment industry. Out of a longing for something deeper than the surface reality of canvas, she fell in love with the life contained in clay expression. Trained under various makeup legends such as Walt Disney Studio’s Executive Artist Robert Schiffer, Caroline further developed her sculpting through spiritual research and discipline.
